Powell Corporation has been known for its community involvement in South Jersey, particularly in Moorestown, where it has sponsored a number of teams for the Moorestown Youth Baseball Federation and soccer league and where Mr.  Powell has volunteered his time as a baseball and soccer coach. Powell Building Corporation has also donated its services to the Moorestown Recreation Department for the improvement of youth recreational facilities. Mr. Powell and Mr. Capri are both leaders in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Medford, where they have both helped organize and run a number of charity events. Through the New Jersey Remodelers Association’s Operation Good Samaritan, Powell Building Corporation has been commended for its donation of services and supplies to less fortunate members of the New Jersey community.
